How we handle your data — short version: your images never reach our servers.
Last updated: June 2026
The core AVIF to JPG conversion runs entirely inside your web browser. Your image files are processed locally on your own device and are never transmitted to, uploaded to, or stored on our servers.
We keep data collection to a minimum:
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
We load a small number of third-party resources (for example, anti-spam protection and aggregate analytics). These providers may process limited technical data such as your IP address in order to function.
Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing. Because your images are processed locally, there is no image data on our servers that could be exposed.
You can permanently delete your account at any time from your profile page, under “Delete account”. For your security, deletion is confirmed with both your password and a one-time code emailed to you.
Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes your profile, login credentials, email address, and personal conversion totals. Only anonymous, aggregate usage counts that cannot identify you are retained. This cannot be undone. You may also request deletion by contacting us.
